Dr. Fasono's educational background is both diverse and impressive. She holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology, which she obtained in 2012, providing her with a deep understanding of the psychological needs of young people in educational settings. Additionally, she has earned Master's degrees in Spanish, Social Work, and Pastoral Counseling, equipping her with a holistic skill set to address the complex needs of her clients.

Her professional journey is marked by a commitment to service and education. Dr. Fasono's career began with several years of service in the US Army, an experience that undoubtedly shaped her discipline, leadership skills, and understanding of diverse populations. Following her military service, she transitioned into education, serving as a Spanish Instructor and Guidance Counselor for KISD (presumably Killeen Independent School District) and as an Adjunct Professor for CTC (likely Central Texas College).

During her tenure as an Assistant Professor at Wesleyan University, which spanned more than a decade, she authored seven textbooks in both Spanish and English.
