Patricia Whynot

Patricia Whynot, MS, LPC-Associate, has over a decade working with juvenile and juvenile offender populations. She specializes in trauma therapy and uses Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

She earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health from Texas Woman's University. Her clinical work with survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse and neglect, and her experience across youth-focused settings, inform her skill with young children, teens, and caregivers.

Patricia uses a multiculturally informed, non-judgmental approach and emphasizes parent/caregiver partnerships to support healing. She applies evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, disordered eating, substance abuse, domestic violence, suicidal ideation, sleep dysfunction, and LGBTQIA+ identity issues to build collaborative care plans.
