Patty Jonas

Patty Jonas is a licensed professional counselor who grew up in central South Dakota and has spent most of her life in the area. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northern State University in 2015 and went on to complete her Master’s in Counseling at South Dakota State University’s West River campus in Rapid City in 2018.

Following graduate school, Patty worked extensively with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as their families, gaining valuable experience in trauma-informed care. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
