Robert Barnett

Robert Barnett, LMHC, LCPC, LPC, EMDR, is a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor with over three decades of experience in mental health counseling. He specializes in trauma recovery, PTSD, sexual abuse recovery, and grief recovery and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), integrative psychotherapy, and pastoral care.

As a former U.S. Marine, he brings specific insight into the needs of veterans, military personnel, and their families. New Hope Counseling and Trauma Therapy LLC now operates under the umbrella of KR Counseling.

Barnett holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University and EMDR Certification from EMDRIA. His approach is rooted in compassion and empowerment, helping clients get 'unstuck' and experience wellness.
