As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Johnston specializes in working with adults and adolescents aged 14 and above, offering both individual and group therapy sessions.

Dr. Johnston's areas of expertise encompass a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, eating concerns, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and interpersonal issues. His therapeutic style integrates mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and interpersonal therapy, creating a comprehensive treatment approach tailored to each client's needs.

With a strong commitment to cultural humility, Dr. Johnston prioritizes sensitivity to various aspects of identity, including gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnic/racial background, and spirituality. Having earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Johnston brings a wealth of experience from various clinical settings. His background includes work in an anxiety clinic, an eating disorder treatment facility, a residential OCD program, and both community and university counseling centers. Additionally, Dr. Johnston has experience providing teletherapy, offering flexible options for client care.

Through his compassionate and humble approach, Dr. Johnston aims to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their challenges, develop new coping strategies, and ultimately find their path to emotional health and life satisfaction.
