Russell Beazer

Russell Beazer, MS, LMFT, Clinical Director, is the founder and owner of A Family Works Counseling and began in 1991 in the behavioral health field. He specializes in couples and family counseling, working with individuals, couples, and families.

A graduate of Virginia Tech's Marriage & Family Therapy program, Russell has worked in settings including group homes and pediatric psychiatric units. He supervises Associate Therapists and helps shape clinical care across the practice.

Known for a reputation for success with difficult situations and clients who feel "stuck," he provides insight, perspective, understanding, and accountability to help clients define goals and make progress. His 33-year marriage and father of six inform his family-centered approach.
