With a strong educational foundation, Sarah earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Towson University. Her professional journey includes valuable experiences in diverse settings, from inpatient units to outpatient clinics. Sarah began her career at Sheppard Pratt Health System's Inpatient Child Unit and later honed her skills at Kennedy Krieger's Child and Family Therapy Clinic and the University of Maryland Center for Child Protection Care Clinic.
Sarah's commitment to providing evidence-based care is evident in her extensive training and certifications. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has received training in play therapy, expressive therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT), and Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma for Children and Adolescents (ITCT-C/ITCT-A).
