Sari Balsam

Sari Balsam, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker and has been a staff therapist at DAAS Wellness Center since May 2018. She focuses on supporting elementary school students as they navigate the challenges of childhood.

She works with children grappling with family issues, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Her toolkit includes somatic intervention techniques, targeted anxiety treatments, and art therapy to help young clients process feelings and build skills.

Understanding a child’s progress often depends on their home environment, Sari offers parenting coaching via Zoom using gentle parenting methods to empower caregivers. Her approach emphasizes practical coping strategies, breathing exercises, and organizational skills to support lasting gains.
