Shane Brown

Shane Brown, LCSW-R, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose expertise includes Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment theories, Solution Focused Modalities, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Works with individuals and couples.

Began work in the mental health field in 2003; Master's degree from Syracuse University in 2008. Worked at St Joseph Hospital, The Brownell Center, and Liberty Post, and is President of Syracuse Family Counseling; established the practice in 2015.

Shane creates a welcoming and effective therapeutic environment and tailors his approach to each client's unique needs. Offers evenings and Saturdays; practice does not directly accept insurance but provides documentation for reimbursement.
