Victor Blythe

Victor Blythe, LICSW, LCSW-C, has over 15 years of clinical and therapeutic experience and specializes in work with children and adolescents while also treating adults. He uses cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and client-centered techniques to tailor care to each client’s needs.

A native Washingtonian educated in Catholic schools in Maryland and DC, he earned a BA in Psychology from The American University and an MSW from Howard University. He spent seven years in the Psychiatry Department at Children's National Medical Center providing ER psychiatric assessments and has over 12 years treating adults with mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, psychotic disorders, and sexual orientation issues.

Victor emphasizes collaborative work and strong rapport, guiding clients to identify practical solutions and drawing on his crisis assessment experience and community insight to support progress.
