Aaron Blackham

Aaron Blackham, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years in the mental health field. He works with anxiety, grief, mood and substance use disorders, trauma, and crisis intervention using person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed methods.

He has worked in wilderness-based, residential, medical, private, nonprofit, and public agencies and has 12 years teaching, training, and consulting on evidence-based practices that promote wellness. He provides individual and family counseling and uses the Gottman method for pre-marital and couples' counseling.

Aaron integrates Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with emotional intelligence, transpersonal psychology, mindfulness, and systems theory, and offers HeartMath-based biofeedback to tailor care for stress management, life transitions, insomnia, and relational concerns.
