With a passion for guiding individuals, couples, and families towards happier and more successful lives, Abel Oriri stands at the forefront of mental health counseling as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation (LPCC-S) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). As the Director of Able Counseling & Associates Inc., Abel brings a wealth of expertise to his role as an Individual, Marriage & Family Consultant.

Abel's approach to therapy is rooted in helping clients gain a deeper understanding of their current situations. He employs complementary techniques in individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings to unearth long-standing behavioral patterns and negative perceptions that may be hindering clients from experiencing a meaningful and purposeful life. His goal is to guide clients towards resolution and a more fulfilling personal and professional existence.

Beyond his clinical practice, Abel's expertise extends to critical incident response and training on a global scale. He provides Employee Assistance Program (EAP) consultations and supervises doctoral and master-level clinical residents and interns. Abel's diverse skill set allows him to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental and emotional disorders, including those related to relationships, military deployments, acute stress, insomnia, depression, and chemical dependency.

Abel's commitment to serving others is evident in his work with the American Red Cross and the U.S. Military as a Critical Incident Consultant. This unique experience enhances his ability to handle high-stress situations and provide support to those who have faced traumatic events.
