Alex Hsieh

Alex Hsieh, PhD, LMFT, specializes in pornography addiction and works with teens on purpose, identity, and emotional wellbeing. He employs a systemic approach that examines how addiction impacts relationships and daily functioning.

He holds a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. His clinical experience includes community mental health agencies, school-based programs, university clinics, and homeless transitional facilities.

He serves as Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University and uses evidence-based practices in a collaborative, goal-oriented way to support healthier coping, self-compassion, and clearer relational understanding. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
