Allison Spencer

Allison Spencer, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with teenagers and their families. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, parent-child relationships, self-harm, crisis intervention, self-esteem building, suicidal ideation, parenting support, peer relationships, healthy dating relationships, trauma processing, grief and loss, identity issues, coping skills development, and assistance with school-related matters such as IEPs and 504 plans.

She draws on family systems theory; strength-based approach; cognitive behavioral therapy; dialectical behavioral therapy in her clinical work. Allison has experience in elementary and middle schools, crisis intervention, primary care, teen residential treatment, community mental health, and hospitals.
