Amanda Sousa

Amanda Sousa, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a background in psychology and neuroscience from Salve Regina University and a Master of Social Work from Simmons University in Boston. She has extensive experience in community, school, and home-based settings, and most recently worked at Cambridge Health Alliance on the Adolescent Assessment Unit. Amanda specializes in trauma-informed care and is trained in Internal Family Systems, drawing on approaches such as DBT, CBT, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused therapies. She works with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, suicidality, personality disorders, and trauma, providing a compassionate space that honors resilience and fosters healing and growth.
