Annie Hsueh

Annie Hsueh, Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, is a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and founder of Hope and Sage Psychological Services. She is trained in Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT) and Insight-Oriented Couple Therapy and focuses on couples and relationship-focused work.

She completed a BA in Psychology at the University of California, San Diego (Magna Cum Laude) and earned her master's and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University. Her clinical training includes an APA-Accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship at the University of Michigan and an APA-Accredited Postdoctoral Fellowship in Women's Behavioral Health at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center; she has been licensed since 2013 and has worked in medical centers, university counseling, and private practice.

Dr. Hsueh uses evidence-based approaches for couples therapy, premarital counseling, the transition to parenthood, and individual therapy for relationship concerns. Her multicultural background informs work with Asian American clients and highly sensitive persons; she has published and presented on couple relationships.
