April Brown

April Brown, Ph.D., LMHC, NCC, is a Licensed Mental Health Christian Counselor and Certified Relationship and Sex Therapist with a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology. She is licensed in Florida, Wisconsin, New York, and New Jersey, Board Certified in TeleMental Health, an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist, and a Qualified Clinical Supervisor.

With over two decades of experience, she works with individuals and couples, specializing in increasing intimacy and treating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Her integrative, multicultural approach includes cognitive-behavioral techniques, family systems, solution-focused treatments, EMDR, and Gottman training.

Dr. Brown offers in-person and teletherapy, leads "Vacation Counseling" retreats, and hosts the "Bringing Intimacy Back" podcast. Her practice emphasizes insight, motivation, empowerment, and action in a nonjudgmental environment.
