Ashley Elliott

Ashley Elliott, PSY.D., is a Resident in Clinical Psychology who addresses the complex interplay of substance abuse, mental illness, and interpersonal violence. Her clinical interests include community mental health; substance abuse treatment; group therapy; urban trauma; and LGBTQ+ issues, and she emphasizes client psycho-education.

She has experience working with children, adults, and adolescents from various multicultural backgrounds across settings: inpatient mental health, community mental health, and school environments in the DC Metropolitan Area.

Her practice includes the integration of non-traditional and artistic expression in therapy to offer alternative pathways for healing and self-discovery, and she supports clients in developing skills and understanding to navigate challenges.
