Austin Simpson

Austin Simpson, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist who earned both his Masters and Doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Oregon, specializing in neuropsychological assessment. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah, focusing on neuropsychological assessment.

He treats trauma, depression, anxiety, life stress, brain injury, and social/relationship issues and works with individuals and couples. His practice draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside mindfulness, neuroscience, and cognitive-behavioral therapies.

Dr. Simpson has training in community mental health, college counseling, and VA medical centers. He creates a warm and nonjudgmental environment, tailors care to each person's background, and focuses on fostering self-compassion, flexibility, and actionable skills.
