Brooke Atkinson

Brooke Atkinson, LPC, has over two decades of experience in trauma-related fields. Her background in law enforcement, expert witness testimony, and work as a guardian ad litem informs her clinical perspective and practice.

She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, personality disorders, family and relationship issues, divorce, and personal growth. Her approach is founded in attachment theory and uses a biopsychosocial model for assessment, conceptualization, and treatment; she is skilled in play therapy techniques, CBT, DBT, and Person-Centered therapy.

As co-founder of the Phoenix Rising Empowerment Project, she supports individuals impacted by sexual harassment or assault and will go to court when necessary for clients' best interest. Brooke applies a holistic, attachment-informed framework to help individuals, couples, and families pursue healing and empowerment.
