Candice Crawford

Candice Crawford, Ph.D., LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Assistant Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Molloy College. Her integrative approach is grounded in Person-Centered principles and complemented by elements of Reality Therapy.

She works with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, marital issues, self-esteem problems, suicidal ideation, and eating disorders, and brings a multicultural perspective informed by research has focused on multicultural issues in counseling and supervision, including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, spirituality/religion, and adoption.

Dr. Crawford creates a warm and safe environment where clients can be open, honest, and vulnerable, emphasizing an inclusive, non-judgmental space and a commitment to cultural competence as she tailors care with empathy to support clients’ growth.
