Carly Costello

Carly Costello, LICSW, Certified EMDR Therapist, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for trauma and related concerns, including relationship challenges, shame, regret, negative self-worth, body image, and the aftermath of traumatic experiences.

She is the founder of The Counseling Nook and has a particular passion for working with young women; her practice also supports adults healing childhood wounds and children building secure attachments.

Carly integrates the neurobiological insights of EMDR beyond traditional talk therapy, combining evidence-based techniques with a warm, empathetic presence. She focuses on supporting clients through trauma processing and strengthening self-worth and relationships.
