About
Carolyn Brodie, MS, NCC, is a National Certified Counselor who works with women and LGBTQIA+ clients aged 16 and above. She has a specialized focus on Eating Disorders (including Anorexia, Bulimia, ARFID, OSFED, and Binge Eating Disorder) and Anxiety diagnoses.
Her therapeutic style is rooted in person-centered talk therapy and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT-E, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She offers both in-person and virtual therapy sessions to provide flexible care.
As a member of The Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), Carolyn’s practice is informed by the principles of Health at Every Size and body neutrality. She supports clients in challenging diet culture and Euro-centric metrics of health, developing boundaries, and validating and empowering them to define health on their own terms.
