Catherine Johnson

Catherine Johnson, PsyD, LP, is Clinical Lead in Geriatric Services at the Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) and former licensed long-term care administrator. She focuses on creating a healing environment for older adults.

She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her clinical work includes individual, family, and group counseling for seniors residing in long-term care facilities and in the community and dementia care, including detection, diagnosis, patient/family treatment, and support.

Dr. Johnson addresses the entire ecosystem surrounding an older adult—staff and family caregivers as well as clients—to enhance quality of life for older adults. She aims to maximize the potential for healing and growth.
