Cathy Durando

Cathy Durando is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor who helps clients navigate personal and relational challenges. She works with adults and couples facing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and relationship issues. Durando creates a safe environment for exploration and growth.

Durando holds a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Christian Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Her journey into counseling began during her time in the Peace Corps, where she discovered her passion for helping others through professional therapy.

Using modalities such as Attachment Theory, Spiritual Integration, Affirmation Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Durando tailors her approach to meet each client's needs. She listens, supports, and challenges clients, guiding them through discomfort toward healing. Her practical insights are informed by her experiences as a mother and volunteer, offering empathy and wisdom in her practice.
