Christopher Holleran, LMFT, integrates cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic techniques to address present challenges and underlying patterns. He specializes in trauma, mood disturbances, social challenges, and life transitions and is co-founder of San Francisco Therapy Collective.
He earned a BA from New College of Florida, concentrated in psychology with a focus on developmental research, and completed an MS in Clinical Psychology at San Francisco State University in 2005. He worked with low-income families and provided school counseling through Family Service Agency's Tenderloin Family Program and spent four years at New Leaf Services providing direct services to LGBTQQI communities in Youth Substance Abuse, Adult Substance Abuse, and Adult Mental Health Programs.
His practice is practical and depth-oriented, offering tools for immediate coping while exploring deeper patterns to support long-term understanding. He draws on his clinical experience with diverse and underserved populations to create a supportive therapeutic environment.
