About
Courtney Freiman, PSY.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, founded Psychological Wellness Services in 2014. She creates an open, supportive environment where individuals and couples feel comfortable sharing their personal stories.
She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment and Mindfulness therapies and is a Level II trained Gottman Method Couple's therapist. She tailors treatment to each client's needs, helping assess difficulties, set realistic goals, and evaluate progress.
Her research on Iraqi war veterans who experienced post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) informs her clinical work; she serves active and former military personnel and their family members. She has worked in community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and private practice and is a member of PSYPACT to support continuity of care across states.
