David Mortellaro

David Mortellaro is a Clinical Director who is the founder and Clinical Director of ABT Counseling in Southwest Virginia. Mortellaro helps people and families navigate mental health challenges, offering services such as mental health counseling, psychiatric care, and opioid addiction treatment.

Mortellaro has a quarter-century of experience in mental health care. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, he emphasizes evidence-based practices. Under his leadership, ABT Counseling has grown to five locations with a staff of 40, including 30 therapists, since its inception in 1985.
