Deborah Johansen

Deborah Johansen, MS, LPC, NCC, EFP, is the AZ Clinical Supervisor and board-approved supervisor for HeartsMatters Counseling and serves as CEO of Foundation for Healing, LLC. She is a certified Equine Facilitated Psychotherapist (EFP) and brings that modality into her supervisory toolkit.

She oversees HeartsMatters Counseling to maintain high standards of care and adhere to ethical guidelines. She mentors associate-level therapists as they develop clinical skills and professional judgment.

While she may not work directly with all clients, her supervisory role focuses on maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of counseling services and shaping the quality of care across the practice.
