Deidre Prosen

Deidre Prosen, MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Community Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She integrates psychodynamic, existential, and person-centered therapy, complemented by cognitive behavioral techniques.

She works with stress management, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, gender identity issues, substance use, intrusive and suicidal thoughts, relationship/marital issues, and anger management. Her M.F.A. in Painting (University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee) and B.F.A. in Drawing & Painting (University of Manitoba) bring a creative, holistic perspective to her clinical work.

Deidre creates a safe, non-judgmental environment and emphasizes that while managing symptoms is crucial, understanding the underlying sources of those symptoms is equally important. She collaborates with clients to identify strengths, reduce self-defeating thinking and behaviors, and support long-term growth and change.
