Desiree Niederer

Desiree Niederer is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2004 and has since gained extensive experience across a variety of settings, including residential care for teens, acute inpatient psychiatric units, emergency department mental health care, and private practice.

Desiree specializes in working with higher-risk teens and young adults, helping clients build self-esteem, identify strengths, and develop their fullest potential. Her clinical experience includes marital counseling, family system adjustments, trauma recovery, dual diagnosis and substance use concerns, mood disorders, crisis intervention, anxiety, and social navigation. She is dedicated to providing a supportive and empowering environment that fosters resilience and growth.
