Divya Babbar

Divya Babbar is a licensed clinical psychologist who helps adolescents, adults, and couples explore the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, disability, and class in their lives. Babbar works with interpersonal distress, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, identity issues, and sexual orientation.

With master's and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, Babbar completed her doctoral internship at Stony Brook University Counseling Center. Her training includes diverse settings such as autism and speech clinics, community mental health, university clinics, college counseling, and private practice. She is independently licensed in Virginia and provides services in Washington D.C. under supervision.

Babbar's therapeutic style is relational psychodynamic, integrated with trauma-informed techniques and mindfulness practices. Clients can expect a tailored approach that considers early life experiences and their impact on current relationships.
