Elizabeth O'Brien, Ph.D., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with an Ed.S in Couples, Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. She specializes in working with troubled children, teens, and adults.
She served as a school-based counselor in a community mental health agency across Elementary, Middle, High, and Alternative school settings. Since relocating to Chattanooga, she has treated adults with substance abuse, addiction, and psychiatric issues in a psychiatric hospital.
Dr. O'Brien teaches at the graduate level in a local clinical mental health counselor education program for over a decade. She helps clients identify problems and implement alternative solutions, emphasizing practical strategies to support growth.
