Emrys Rintoul

Emrys Rintoul is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with clients of all ages, including children, adults, couples, and families. Rintoul focuses on building individual capacity and addressing systemic barriers to growth, offering support to gender-expansive people and facilitating LGBTQ+ support groups.

Originally from the East Coast, Rintoul holds a Bachelor's in Sculpture and a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Their diverse experience includes work in transitional housing for youth, residential facilities, and outpatient community clinics, with particular expertise in educational settings.

Rintoul employs somatic experiencing, narrative and play-based therapy, collaborative problem solving, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Clients can expect an animated therapist who uses humor as a tool for healing, considering both individual and broader contexts in the therapeutic process.
