Eric Leever

Eric Leever, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 35 years of experience. He holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.

He specializes in helping individuals free themselves from fundamental and often unconscious beliefs that cause anger, anxiety, or depression and focuses on dissociation, depression, and anxiety. He is certified in Trauma Model Therapy by the Collin A. Ross Institute and trained in EMDR, hypnosis, and neurofeedback.

At Change of Mind, LLC (formerly Leever Mental Health Counseling), he offers both in-office and tele-health sessions in Port Saint Lucie, Florida and serves as a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counseling. He views many disorders as unconscious attempts to escape dissociated feelings often rooted in childhood adversity or trauma and helps clients become aware of these unconscious beliefs, evaluate their impact on life goals, and replace counterproductive thoughts to support personal growth.
