Evelyn Nelson

Evelyn Nelson, M.D., is Medical Director at Seattle Anxiety Specialists, PLLC and provides psychiatric care to adults 18 and older. She specializes in adult psychiatry and has advanced training in geriatric psychiatry through the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry.

She blends Eastern philosophy and Western medicine in her clinical approach. She earned an MD from the University of California, San Diego and completed residency at the UCLA Semel Institute, serving as chief resident for their interpersonal therapy clinic.

Her research has appeared in the American Journal of Psychiatry; she has collaborated with Stanford University, the National Institutes of Health, and the University of California, San Diego. At Seattle Anxiety Specialists, PLLC, she helps lead a practice focused on anxiety disorders.
