Heather Hendrickson

Heather Hendrickson is a registered associate social worker who works with adults, teens, and families facing anxiety, depression, communication challenges, and childhood trauma. Hendrickson employs cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and has a particular interest in complex trauma.

Hendrickson holds a Master's in Social Work from UMass Global, beginning her therapeutic work in 2021. She has supported educators and mental health coordinators at the Orange County Department of Education and the Mariposa County School District by developing educational materials.

Her approach is collaborative and strengths-based, using CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Informed by polyvagal theory, Hendrickson tailors her support to each client's needs. Her practice emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship, ensuring clients feel seen and heard.
