Itzuri Hurtado

Itzuri Hurtado, LMFT, is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Sunnyvale, CA with a Master's degree in counseling psychology and over a decade of experience.

She works with adults, children, teenagers, couples, and families, treating anxiety, complex trauma, depression, family issues, autism, challenging behaviors, divorce, and relational problems.

She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and provides play therapy for children and teens and animal-assisted therapy. With inpatient and outpatient experience working with severely mentally ill populations, she draws on her bicultural and bilingual perspective to help clients resolve past and present challenges and change ineffective patterns.
