Jacob Irey

Jacob Irey, M.Ed., LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Grow Well Cleveland, LCC. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University.

He works with OCD, depression, trauma, and anxiety and supports marginalized communities including those who are HIV+ and LGBTQIA+. He uses Existential/Gestalt, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral therapies to tailor care to each client’s needs.

Jacob views therapy as a collaborative, judgment-free process that reduces power dynamics to support self-awareness, empowerment, and responsibility. He offers in-person and virtual sessions and has a particular interest in working with older adults and individuals with chronic or terminal illnesses to help clients rediscover neglected parts of themselves.
