Janessa Davis

Janessa Davis, LMHP, is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner at Lifespan Counseling, specializing in trauma-informed care. She holds a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and brings several years of experience shaped by a background in criminal justice administration.

Janessa works with children, teens, and adults and focuses on trauma, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. She uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

For younger clients she incorporates play modalities, and with older teens and adults she offers a steady, knowledgeable presence aimed at helping clients navigate challenges and reach personal goals.
