Jeff Shaeffer

Jeff Shaeffer is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and certified sex addiction therapist. Shaeffer helps people, couples, adolescents, and families navigate life's challenges and move beyond past experiences. He works with issues such as sex addiction, personal growth, and relationship strengthening.

Shaeffer holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. His background as a pastor in non-denominational and Baptist congregations informs his understanding of personal belief systems. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Employing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, Gestalt techniques, and role-playing therapy, Shaeffer tailors his approach to each client's needs. His training includes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and The Gottman Method of Relationship Therapy.
