Jennifer Blanks

Jennifer Blanks, M.Ed, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH 14384) at the Counseling and Wellness Center of South Florida and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).

She specializes in working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and those with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health issues. Jennifer offers Social Skills groups for Tweens and Teens and serves as a Board Member of the South Broward/North Dade Chapter of CHADD.

Her evidence-based, integrative approach combines CBASP, Solution-Focused techniques, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to tailor care for individuals, families, and groups. She focuses on building distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and helping clients toward independence and improved social functioning.
