Jennifer Blanks

Jennifer Blanks is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at the Counseling and Wellness Center of South Florida. Blanks works with people on the Autism Spectrum and those facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. She also offers specialized social skills groups for tweens and teens.

Blanks earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. Her role as a Board Member of the South Broward/North Dade Chapter of CHADD her commitment to ADHD support and community education.

Blanks uses evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Analysis Systems of Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused techniques, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Her sessions focus on examining maladaptive thoughts and behaviors while developing skills in distress tolerance and emotional regulation. Clients can expect a structured approach aimed at fostering independence and fulfilling lives.
