Jennifer Blue

Jennifer Blue is a therapist who embraces the full spectrum of human diversity, offering affirming therapy for queer, trans, polyamorous/ENM, and kinky communities. Blue works with teens and adults, providing a safe space for those exploring or comfortable with their gender identity.

Blue holds a graduate degree from the MSW program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Their professional journey includes a background in trauma-informed care, working under the supervision of Tavi Hawn. Blue's personal experiences as a transgender woman enrich their empathetic approach to therapy.

Blue employs an eclectic methodology, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and parts therapy/IFS. Clients can expect a collaborative therapeutic journey that acknowledges their expertise on their own experiences. Blue also offers innovative therapeutic D&D groups, using gameplay to address social anxiety, identity exploration, and trauma.
