Jennifer Malatras

Jennifer Malatras, Ph.D., is Associate Director for Child Services at the Child and Family Therapy Clinic at UAlbany's Psychological Services Center. She focuses on family relationships and child development and uses evidence-based practices to support children and families.

Dr. Malatras combines clinical practice with the latest research in child psychology and provides supervision, program development, and training for future clinicians at the UAlbany Psychological Services Center. She addresses behavioral problems, developmental concerns, family conflicts, and adjustment difficulties for children and adolescents.

Her child-centered, holistic approach considers the child within the context of their family system, school environment, and broader community, helping families in the Albany area achieve practical, lasting improvements.
