Jessica Downs is a co-founder of Live Well Counseling Center, established in 2018 to serve Grand Junction and the State of Colorado. Downs works with complex trauma and dissociation, utilizing EMDR, Ego State Therapy, and the Theory of Structural Dissociation to support adults of all ages.
Downs began her journey into trauma therapy at the University of Denver, where she earned her master's degree in social work and discovered EMDR's potential. Her career path includes serving as a high school teacher in Houston, TX, which informed her transition into social work. She now trains other therapists as a Senior Faculty member with Kase & CO.
