From an early age, Jessica found herself naturally drawn to supporting others through their difficulties. This innate ability to connect and help eventually led her to pursue a career in counseling. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies with a concentration in Health and Human Services, as well as a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from The State University of New York at New Paltz. Her academic background, coupled with her involvement in various Women's Rights organizations during her college years, has shaped her unique perspective and approach to therapy.
Jessica specializes in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, and PTSD. She has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including women, families, children and adolescents, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and young adults. Her approach is integrative and holistic, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered Therapy. Jessica believes in treating the whole person, ensuring that each therapeutic journey is personalized, collaborative, and tailored to the individual needs of her clients.
What sets Jessica apart is her personal experience with depression and anxiety, as well as her journey as a mother of two children who struggle with ADHD and anxiety.
