With a passion for helping clients overcome life's challenges, Jessica Jacobson, PsyD, brings a wealth of experience to her role as a Psychological Associate at Willow Anxiety & OCD. Dr. Jacobson's approach is rooted in evidence-based treatments, combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques to create a well-rounded, client-centered therapeutic experience.

Dr. Jacobson has developed in-depth expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including various anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Her commitment to utilizing her clients' strengths and helping them achieve their goals is evident in her therapeutic work, as she guides individuals towards living the life they aspire to.

With a diverse background that spans education, business development, and life-coaching, Dr. Jacobson brings a unique perspective to her practice. Her eight years of experience, including specialized training under Dr. Jakatdar, have honed her skills in addressing complex mental health challenges. Dr. Jacobson's expertise extends to working with trauma, family-centered therapy, and learning challenges, showcasing her versatility as a clinician.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jacobson has demonstrated a commitment to community service and youth support. She has been a leader for the Youth Crisis Hotline, worked with incarcerated youth, volunteered at a women's shelter, and served as a certified elementary school teacher. Her dedication to helping young people is further evidenced by her work in developing programs for teens and young adults struggling with learning difficulties, as well as creating curricula for reading, at-risk youth, and high school transition programs.

Currently, Dr. Jacobson is in the final stages of her dissertation, focusing on the effects of mind-body modalities integrated with cognitive behavioral approaches for depression. This research underscores her commitment to advancing the field of mental health treatment. On a personal note, Dr. Jessica Jacobson is a mother of two children who enjoys reading, traveling, dancing, skiing, nature, and finding ways to bring smiles to people's faces – a quality that undoubtedly enhances her therapeutic relationships with clients.
