Joanna Love

Dr. Joanna Love, PhD, Psychologist, brings over two decades of experience and specializes in adoption-competent services. She has specialized training in Adoption Competence (TAC) and Think Trauma and provides individual, family, and co-parenting therapy and pre-adoption psychological evaluations for individuals and couples considering domestic or international adoption.

She works with clients of all ages, from young children to adults, and serves adopted individuals and parents affected by adoption, foster care, or kinship care, focusing on supporting families through life transitions and addressing attachment concerns, developmental trauma, and PTSD.

Dr. Love believes parents are the primary agents of healing, prioritizes family relationships and parental involvement, and uses a collaborative, transparent approach with ongoing assessment so clients are active participants in care.
