Joseph Pineda, Graduate Student, specializes in working with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship difficulties and brings a particular passion for supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

He integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, offering practical strategies alongside emotional support. Currently pursuing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of St. Thomas and holding a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Minor in Neuroscience from The University of St. Thomas, he brings an evidence-informed perspective to his work.

Joseph acknowledges how race, gender expression, sexual orientation, origin, and spiritual beliefs shape identity and relationships, and he strives to create a counseling relationship built on compassion, openness, and acceptance of each client's authentic self. His approach is holistic and respectful, focused on helping clients explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to identify patterns that may be causing distress.
