Josh Downs

Josh Downs is a therapist who helps couples seeking to reconnect and transform their partnerships. Downs works with couples navigating complex relationship dynamics, offering guidance on communication problems, broken trust, addiction, infidelity, and mental illness. He also assists teens, young adults, and people dealing with depression, anxiety, and behaviors that feel out of control.

Downs earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University, where he researched childhood resilience and scrupulosity. Since 2009, he has been practicing therapy, bringing a wealth of knowledge and insight to his sessions.

As a co-founder of Live Well Counseling Center, Downs uses Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients understand and alter unhelpful patterns in their relationships. His approach encourages accountability and supports partners in rebuilding relationships on foundations of love and trust.
